Bugatti, the luxury car brand, has unveiled plans for a 60-story residential skyscraper in Miami, marking its first branded residence in the United States. The Bugatti Residences Miami will be situated on the banks of the Miami River in the rapidly developing Brickell neighborhood.

Design and Development

The architectural design of the building is being handled by the US-based Brandon Haw Architecture, while the interiors are crafted by the design firm Yabu Pushelberg. The development is a collaborative effort between Prosper Group and Versluys Group. The structure will feature 183 apartments and four penthouses, split across four distinct blocks with double-height spaces in between.

Inspired by both Miami’s architectural flair and the sleek lines of Bugatti’s supercars, the building’s design includes the brand’s iconic C-line motif. “Miami’s bold architecture, creative spirit and global appeal make it a compelling setting for our next Bugatti Residences project,” stated Wiebke Ståhl, managing director of Bugatti International.

Bugatti Residences Miami: Bugatti’s Entry into the US Market

This venture follows Bugatti’s earlier residential project announced in Dubai in 2023. Bugatti Residences Miami will join a roster of branded skyscrapers by luxury automakers such as Porsche, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, and Aston Martin already planned or under construction in the city. Jay Roberts, CEO of Prosper Group, expressed enthusiasm for the project, highlighting Miami’s status as a hub for wealth and investment.

The Brickell area, where the tower will be located, is experiencing a surge in high-end real estate development. Notable projects in the vicinity include a 54-story skyscraper by Foster + Partners and a 90-story tower by fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana.

The Bugatti Residences Miami aims to offer a unique branded living experience, combining luxurious design with high-end residential services. Further details on the timeline for construction and completion have yet to be announced.

Branded residences are now a standard tool for developers seeking a premium, and the tower joins a market that reaches from Miami to the tallest towers in the Middle East. Whether the badge survives the building is the open question; the Shard in London shows how quickly a tower stops being a brand and becomes simply part of the skyline.
